Strangers in a Strange Land

Who are all these strangers wandering the campus like they own the place? Are they the 3L's we haven't seen since August? They seem to know what they are doing, yet I don't recognize any of them. They all have this tired yet triumphant look - maybe the look you get as you run the last stretch before the finish line?
