I should be a dentist

Or at least maybe I should find one to marry.

I had to have a root canal yesterday. To be more precise, a root canal retreatment. Yes, a root canal I had done in the past went bad, quite painfully, so now I am recovering from the "retreatment." I hate going to the dentist - it causes pain the mouth and in the wallet.

At least it means I can console myself with a milkshake, right?

Do you have to pay for all the expenses of the root canal retreatment, and a new crown?

I had to have a "retreatment" which costs more than a regular root canal, apparently because it is more difficult to do. I didn't have to pay for a new crown, though, because they were able to drill through the existing crown for the root canal, and then just put a filling in the crown, as if it were a regular tooth. Apparently sometimes they can't do that, and you have to get a new crown too.
