Law Review

So I got a message today that I did in fact grade on to law review. Yay! I know that in part I wanted to make law review just because that is what you are supposed to want, but I also truly want the experience. Yes, I expect long hours and thankless work, but it's a once in a lifetime experience. And I will 'fess up that partly it was competition with a sibling that drove me as well. My sister attended the same school, and wrote-on to the specialty journal, not to law review. I wanted to do at least as well as she did. Terrible, I know...

Class rankings came out today - and surprise! I might (emphasize MIGHT) actually have a chance at grading on to law review after all. And I had just convinced myself that it didn't matter, that it was okay if I didn't make it, just think of all the free time, etc. Go figure.

Of course, the news about Sandra Day O'Connor resigning was a surprise, too.
