Advanced Study Avoidance

This is the best depiction of avoiding studying I've seen so far...

Dear Dean of Curricular and IT Affairs,

I'm happy you have a new job title and all, although as far as I can tell, your sole duty is to pester us about doing the online professor evaluations. Now, one reminder would be fine, but 4 yesterday, and 5 so far today seems excessive. Especially when you use the same system our professors use to communicate actual class information to spam up our inboxes with your reminders.

Also, admitting that you're nagging does not mitigate the actual nagging.

Stop, seriously.

I got an email from my Law Review editor that I got a "pass" for my LR Note - yay! So I'm officially done with my 2L LR responsibilities, and can burn/shred all of my Westlaw printouts. My nephew has been complaining about the piles of paper in my room, so he'll be happy. He's a little neatnik, that one.

Classes end Wednesday, finals start a week from Monday, so expect lots of blogging from me as I procrastinate.

Quiz Monday

As seen at Brian's place (me? steal quizzes from him? Why yes, yes I do.) I don't like the implications of being associated with Britney and Hitler, though. Hmmm.

Creative and artistic, you are a very unique person who doesn't quite fit in.
People accept you more than you realize, seeing you as trustworthy and loyal.

You are most compatible with: A and AB

Note Complete

I turned in the final version of my Note for Law Review yesterday. I feel like I should feel more relieved, but I'm just too tired. I have only just started outlining for class today, and its slow going. Finals start two weeks from Monday, and I have four, all closed book. What was I thinking? We have 1 1/2 weeks of class left, too - no week-long reading period for us in the Spring.

I had another job interview today - another part-time one for a small firm. I'm tired of trying to convince people I would really do a good job for them. I really hate interviews. And cover letters. And thank you notes. Plus, I wore my suit, and both attorneys were in T-shirts and jeans - and they said they dress that way all the time, except in court. I wish they had told us that in the job description, so we wouldn't all show up in suits and look foolish.

Anyway, Sunday is Easter, and promises much chocolate! Cadbury Creme Eggs - delish!

Spring Fever

I know it's been a while since my last real post. Not much is new, really. I'm still trying to find another part-time job for the summer. I still have one more draft of my note to finish, then I can burn all of my westlaw/lexis printouts finally. I should be starting to prepare for finals, but I'd really rather spend the time goofing off. It doesn't help that the weather is beautiful right now - highs in the 70s/80s - just gorgeous. I went on a picnic in the park last week with my sister and nephew and it was so much fun.

We got to register for classes for the Fall today. Here's my schedule right now, but I will drop one of these classes, I just don't know which one. Opinions, anyone?
